A friend of mine is in Kenya for
another week of work.
Through phone messaging, I’ve had the
chance to talk to him a couple times in
the week he’s already spent there.
Gotta admint, it’s neat to get an inside
scoop on places you haven’t been.
Anyways, first things I asked him was
how’s the coffee? and when’s the Safari?
Much to my surprise, they (the kenyans)
don’t drink much coffee over there. Tea
is their official drink – the british
influence in Kenya’s history probably
has a lot to do with that.
Anyways,
I was surprised because the Kenyan AA
coffee, I’ve been getting (from Torcedor
Coffee) is excellent. Figured they’d be
drinking their own coffee too, but instead,
they export most of it.
Hey, whatever works. Capitalist pig that I
am, I say kudos to them for making a
living selling their delicious coffee.
that’s all for today,
Moose
p.s. Almost forgot — they got to do the
safair last weekend and sounds like my
friend was shutter happy, snapping
around 400 photos. Looking forward to
seeing some of those shots.
p.p.s. By the way, here’s the website
