Twinkletoes she is not.

Kirstie Alley nearly hit the ballroom
floor again and yet Sugar Ray (the
boxing great) got the boot.

Go figure.

Can’t really blame him since most of his
life was spent holding a posture
designed to protect his noggin and body…
not dance the waltz…

But

(At least back then) he was lighter on
his feet.

Something Kirstie clearly is not.

She could change that if she wanted to.

It wouldn’t take much time out of her day.

Just a couple minutes a day while she
gets started with a simple exercise and
a $6 piece of equipment and maybe some
extra how-to tips from Vince Palko.

Hope the name of Palko’s (Linebacker
Fitness) book doesn’t scare her off.

If kids and granpdas can do this
exercise, she certainly can (that is, if
her doctor gives her the okay).

Heck, kids don’t even think of it as
exercise, as far as they’re concerned
it’s a fun game to play with friends.

Anyways, get the scoop here at
www.andymoose.com/linebackerfitness

adios,
Andy “tenderfoot” Moose

p.s. I am NOT a doctor. Just a guy
recommending what I think is great info
about a simple, quick exercise that
doesn’t have to be boring.

So, for the legal beagles out there,
“Please, check with your doctor before
starting any new exercise programs”

That said, I’ve bought this same book
with my own money. I like it and
recommend it to you today.

If you do buy it from this link:
www.andymoose.com/linebackerfitness
I’ll get a commission.

If you don’t want me to get a tip for
recommending the book to you, then use

For one, all of us mere mortals (myself included) ought to start out
easy when starting up a new routine – especially new exercise routines.

Afterall, what good is training if a) you hate it, or b) you get hurt.

Unless you’re trying something crazy, you can avoid both of these
problems by easing into it. Even 1 minute a day to start things off
will be better than none at all.

(Side Note: ALWAYS get doctor-approval before starting new diet or
training programs)

2. Focusing on something quick and easy, like 1 minute of holding
the pushup position or a wallchair, makes it easy to get it done today,
and the next day and so on… and it sets you up for success.
String a couple days together and soon you might find it easier to do it
than to skip it.

3. Yes, you have time. If you’re just getting started – try holding a
pushup for time, or sit in a wall chair position for 60 seconds and
when you’re done you can check it of the list and call it a day.

3.5 Do this first thing in the morning to give your day a quick boost.
And one thing already marked off your list.

-Andy Moose

p.s. Pushups and Wall-Chairs are just two of many different exercises
you can do for a minute. In Matt Furey’s book Combat Conditioning -
there’s 48 bodyweight exercises – pick out some favorites to do daily
or rotate them if you like.

Check it out here – www.andymoose.com/combatconditioning

p.p.s. If you like what you see and you buy the book, I may get
a commission for recommending it to you.
That said, you might not use or like all the exercises listed in this book,
but I bet you’ll find (like I have) a handful you like to do.

Did a short bit of sprint training in the backyard yesterday.

Took advantage of the “warmer” weather and spongy turf
to finally get that first outdoor workout into the books.

I don’t know if it was the fresh air, the extra daylight or using
wiffleballs as cones,.. but it sure felt good to get outside.
Was fun too.

Tonight, the plan is some linebacker fitness. No, I won’t be beating
the snot out of anybody (though that would be fun).
But hopefully the rain holds off – otherwise the garage will suit just fine.

That’s one of the great things about Linebacker Fitness, you can
do it indoors or out, as a warmup or on it’s own as a full workout.
And it travels well too, since the only piece of equipment you need
can pack smaller than half a pair of shoes.

What is Linebacker Fitness?
Find out here:
http://www.andymoose.com/linebackerfitness

-Andy Moose

p.s. Vince Palko wrote Linebacker Fitness, and he’ll tell you there isn’t
any age limit either. Some grandpa’s and grandma’s do it too, and they
look years younger than the really are.

Find out everything you need to know about it here:

Been seeing a lot of chatter lately about weight loss. Maybe it’s because March tends to be the month people nudge (or flat out dump) their New Year’s resolutions into the trash.

Personally, I don’t bother with New Year’s resolutions.

I’d rather make (and meet) goals throughout the year as needed and not get tied up into thinking you have to wait til December 31st to set any Big goals.

Besides, I think people use New Year’s to complicate things too much.

When it’s much simpler to sit back and think about what you want to accomplish. What it’ll take to get there. And how good it’ll feel wehn you meet your goal and you have a bunch of momentum to carry towards another goal.

Yeah, I know it’s March already.

But it’s Only March – month 3 out of 12 – there’s still plenty of 2011 left.

And if weightloss happens to be one of your goals – there’s still plenty of time to meet your goal before summer gets here.

Walt Disney once said, “The best way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing”.

And if you want something to begin doing, to help you reach you weight loss goals, I recommend Matt Furey’s course –
Effortless Change: Weight Loss Without Will Power.

It’s not walking, running, or swimming. Instead, it’s a series of Internal Power exercises he’s learned over the years while studying Chinese martial arts and healing methods.

You can learn more about it here:
http://www.andymoose.com/effortlesschange

Moving Forward,
Andy Moose

p.s. If you do grab a copy of Matt’s course, I’ll get a commission. How’s that for honesty?

Several years ago, I couldn’t do more than one or two pullups to save my life. Until finally I decided to do ONE Rep, Every Single Day until I could do two… then three, and so on.

Yes, one rep counts and it can get you moving towards your goal.

Matt Furey makes a point of this (and explains why it’s true) in his best-selling book Combat Conditioning.

p.s. The FTC says I have to tell you I could get a tip (as in money) if you buy Combat Conditioning via this link

Kinda like tipping the waiter at a restaraunt for giving you some great dinner recommendations.
